Ford Foundation Community-Based Forestry Project
As part of the Ford Foundation Community-Based Forestry
Demonstration Project, a series of economic base studies were
constructed for 13 forestry communities in the United States. Many of
the communities were previously resource-based economies that are
going through the transition to more service-centered economies.
